Jeff and Kelly Olsen own and operate Venture RV from their Snells Beach property just 40 minutes north of Auckland on the beautiful Mahurangi Coast. A South Island depot in Christchurch makes Auckland or Christchurch easy gateways to start or finish your motorhome adventure.
Jeff has had a lifetime career in the transport and automotive sector, whilst Kelly works in the Health and Wellbeing field with many years working for not for profit organisations. Jeff and Kelly jointly have owned and operated a number of successful businesses focused on customer service over many years.

Free Auckland or Christchurch Airport or City Pickup and drop off
Meet & Greet
We will collect you from Auckland airport or the city, and bring you to our base just one hour North.
There, you can refresh, relax and stay a night in our comfortable guest room before heading off in the morning on your great adventure.
If you plan to arrive in Christchurch, we will again collect you from the airport and take you to our Christchurch motorhome base.
At the end of your holiday we will drop you back at the airport or at a city hotel, either in Auckland or Christchurch.

We offer a luxury private guest room at our Auckland coastal property for all our clients. Stay a night then get to know your motorhome through and through so you are refreshed and ready to hit the road!
Book your first FREE night in our guest room (under optional extra's while booking) - remember your motorhome booking will not start until the first day of travel.
One Way or Return Hire
Auckland or Christchurch
One-Way Hire or Return Auckland or Christchurch - Your choice
The majority of international flights to and from New Zealand are via Auckland. However due to the unique geography of our country it makes a lot of sense to arrive in Auckland and to depart from Christchurch (in the South Island) should you decide to make your motorhome adventure a one-way hire.
Your choice is to pick up and drop off in Auckland or Christchurch*, or we offer a one way hire from Auckland to Christchurch, however should you wish to change this around and reverse your route, then we also offer a Christchurch to Auckland one way hire option.
*All Christchurch Pick Up & drop Off hire’s are subject to a minimum 14 day hire reservation.
Customised Hire Itineraries
As we are a small business, we pride ourselves in being flexible and being able to offer customised hire options that will also include alternative drop off locations - please contact us directly to discuss your plans.
Ferry Booking (If travelling between Islands)
Inter-Island ferry booking – It is important that this is booked early particularly during our peak season (Summer). You can make this booking yourself or we can make this for you. We only recommend booking the changeable/refundable ticket option (there are cheaper price options, but you will have very little flexibility).
NOTE: There is no additional admin charge for making the booking on your behalf if you would like us to do this for you the current rates are as follows:
COST: The current rates are: $375 (motorhome & driver) + $75 per passenger - Rates are subject to change by the ferry companies.
